SCORING is at the heart of a great box leagues system. It should be quick and simple, not allow you to enter anything other than a valid score, and you should be able to see the updated standings (positions) for your box immediately. So give it a try! If you don't see an example below that's' close enough to how you run your leagues get in touch and we'll add another example for you.

As organiser you choose the number of players per league, how matches are organised (e.g. best of 1, 3 or 5 sets/games) and how scores are determined (e.g. points per game/set/match played/match won etc).

SQUASH 1 - BEST OF 5

Squash leagues with five players per league, playing best of 5 games with PAR 11 scoring. Scoring is: one point per game won, one point lost per game lost and 3 points for the winner.

SQUASH 2 - BEST OF 5, GAMES SCORES RECORDED

Squash leagues with five players per league, playing best of 5 games with PAR 11 scoring. Both game scores and points are requested, e.g 3-1 (11-5, 6-11, 13-11, 11-8) Game points could also be made optional. Scoring is: one point per game won, one point lost per game lost and 3 points for the winner.

TENNIS 1 - SINGLES, LONG SET

Tennis leagues where a single, extended set is played, with the winner the first to 8 games and a tiebreak at 7-all. Scoring is 1 point per game won, with an extra two points for the winner.

TENNIS 2 - BEST OF 3 SETS

Tennis leagues where best of three regular sets are played. One point per set won, two points for the winner.

TENNIS 3 - 9 PLAYERS LEAGUES

Tennis leagues with 9 players per league (plus a few with 8 players). Example with bigger leagues. There can be up to 12 players per box.

TENNIS 4 - SINGLES, FIXED 13 GAMES

Tennis leagues where a fixed 13 games are played. One point per game won

TENNIS 5 - DOUBLES, FIXED 16 GAMES

Mixed doubles leagues with five pairs per league, playing a fixed 16 games. Scoring is: one point per game won
